Correct Installation Steps (MUST Follow)
Step 1: Physical HDD Installation Power off the computer and unplug it.
Step 2 : Remove the original HDD and install the Stata Drive directly to the motherboard’s SATA port:
Must use SATA data + power cables (no USB adapters)
Do NOT use USB enclosures or SATA-to-USB converters
Step 3. Secure all connections and reassemble the PC. 

Fixing Booting Issues with Stata Drive : Check BIOS/UEFI Settings


Your system may not detect the Stata Drive due to incorrect BIOS settings. Follow these steps:

Step 1: Disable Secure Boot

Restart your computer and enter BIOS (usually by pressing F1, F2, F10, F12, or Delete during startup).
Navigate to Security or Boot settings.
Locate Secure Boot and set it to Disabled.

Step 2: Change Hard Drive Mode to AHCI

In BIOS, go to Configuration/Config → Storage.
Find Controller Mode (or SATA Mode) and change it to AHCI.
Save changes (F10) and restart.

Step 3: Enable CSM (Compatibility Support Module)

Go to Startup or Boot settings in BIOS.
Set UEFI/Legacy Boot to Both (or Legacy Only if needed).
Enable CSM Support (set to Yes).
Save and exit (F10) .

Step 4: Verify Boot Order

In BIOS, go to Boot Options.
Ensure the Stata Drive is listed in the boot sequence.
Move it to the top if necessary.

5. Multi-language: German, English, American English, French, Italian, Spanish, Japanese, Chinese, Russian, Portuguese, Dutch
6. Support CAN protocol models after 2010, not all models or all functions can be supported.
